Blade

Looking into the blade
Wishing there was another answer to this pain
But knowing I’ve been betrayed
It’s just driving me insane

I used to love you
Now it’s all about to change
I don’t want to see you ever
I’m out of your range

Leave me alone
And let me die in peace
I’m all on my own
Now and forever I am ceased

I hold the knife to my heart
I’m living for you
But we are forever apart
So now I need to die, it’s the only thing I can do
All I wanted was for you to love me to

Watch the blade pierce my skin
And the sea of red run down my chest
Try to breathe out and in
As I lay down to rest
Knowing I won’t awake
My body filled with so much ache

Now you know how much my love for you was true
You didn’t have a clue
That everything I did was for you

So, Take my body
Bury me deep
There I will lie
Forever asleep
