A tear twinkles in my eye,
As I finally understand all the lies.

My darkest nightmares,
Are becoming a reality.
And they're tearing me,
To pieces.

My mind is far away,
Thinking about the brighter days.
For all I knew,
You were true,
But I misjudged you.

Now I'm here,
With a broken heart,
And tears,
That I wept from the start.

Now everything thing is clear,
But those weren't the words,
I wanted to hear.

My heart is aching,
And I wish I was mistaking,
