One More Time

Silently I wonder how,
You could have let me down,
And with every weeping sound,
My head spins around.

Our hearts were bound for all eternity,
And you'd always be there for me,
Yes, that is what I believed.

How did it happen?
This is all I want to know.
Why did you leave?
Why did you go?

No matter how it happened,
It happened to us,
And now when I look at you,
I see someone who's treacherous.

I omit you in discussion,
Because when I speak of you,
My heart burns,
With knowing you're untrue.

I watched you rip my heart out,
And without a doubt I knew,
What you were intending to do.

You divest my soul,
And my heart you stole,
But deep down I know that I can go on,
If only I can stand strong.

Please God,
Help me through this one night,
And I'll know,
It'll be alright.
