My Belief On Love

Love is a strong word to use and express,
I have had a rough share of it that I must confess.
Some use it to show true affection and feeling,
And there are some who use it as a pathologic lie to keep the other person believing.

Love doesn't grow on trees and love can't be bought,
somewhere down the road this is something that we were all taught.
Love can be blind, but love can also be clear,
It is something that a lot but not all individuals do fear.

The feeling of anxiety when you know your in love,
and hoping that the other person feels the same way,
will be encountered by every individual sometime in their day.

Because, there is someone for everybody I have believed this speech throughout my life,
And I am nothing special,
But I had an incredible girl that left me for someone else, that i wanted to be my wife.

    I had a hard time writing this poem because it expresses how i feel about love since i have had a hard time with relationships. and it expresses how i feel about my ex that just broke up with me for someone else just ias i was going to ask her to marry me after two years of being together.
