Finding Love

by Bobby Brownlie   Jun 18, 2005

I am upset I want to find love in my life,
But I am afraid because the last one I loved,
Made me so upset I became depressed when she left,
I turned for the knife.

I want to find love where we’re happy and where
We will always get along,
Where we always say I love you and kiss,
Whenever we here our song.

I hope that day comes soon because I hate the feeling,
Of being alone I just want to find the right one,
I want the warm feeling of that special someone
In my life,
Because I have no one and the feeling is so cold that sometimes
I get numb.

I want to find love where we go on picnics, romantic dates, and for long walks along the beach,
And I want to look her in the eyes with the sun setting in her hair and say I love you and kiss her while gently rubbing her face with her skin soft as a peach.

I want to find love with a beautiful wedding with bells ringing where we’re running out and butterflies
Are let loose in to the air,
While a gentle breeze blows on an autumn day through the fine strands of you hair.

Where I pick you up swiftly off your feet and where you shall stay forever in my heart,
The place where you are safe and no one can do you wrong,
Where we can live together forever standing side by side till death do us part.

I hope that I find love because I want this entire dream to all so come true,
I want it to be with the one I am supposed to be with,
And I hope it does because if not I don’t know what I’d do.
