Put down the knife

Open your eyes,
don't let them shut.
Put down the knife
and don't let yourself cut.
Wake up and realize,
thats not the way,
Look around at the people that love you,
for them you should stay.
I know they cut because of inner pain,
don't you realize,
you loose more than you gain.
Stay strong and never act weak.
respect yourself,
don't make those wrists leak.

*Cutting is a sad, serious thing to me. I just wish people could find another way out. I hope this doesn' offend n e 1 :(

    yea, it is serious...its also extremely addicting, wether they want to stop, or not, you cant just simply ask, it takes time...good poem by the way
