Dreaming

by ŦōüċhÌήğ ỀνĬĽ   Nov 14, 2004

*I don-t really know what this poem is all about..I just wrote it, probably doesn-t make sense but anyways*

My pillows hold my head
Blankets shield my skin
To darkness, my dreams are lead
The place I hate to be in

My eyes flicker behind their lid
Looking for the memories of my past
Where can they be hid?
In my heart, I find them at last!

Flipping through the book of my life
Looking for a certain page
Last part of the story is where I find the knife
The one that let my anger out of it’s cage

The memory of the horrible thing I saw
“Evil Has Took Me”
Is blood written all over the wall

Cuts all over my arms
Voices all around
I thought it wouldn-t harm
But now to death I’m bound

In the hospital I lay
Scars all over my pale skin
I'll be alright they say
Even after I committed an awful sin

My dream slowly begins to close the book
As morning soon makes it’s first light
For death, my life was almost took
But I put up a surviving fight

I wake up screaming
Look at the blood on my shoulders
Realizing I wasn-t dreaming
I did it all over !!
