For Christ Alone

I am still afraid,
that I will always be alone,
but I must try to forget my fear,
my vision must break free of this cone.
for in Life I must be,
a servant of my Lord,
and uphold His will,
because His love He poured.
and in His own time,
He will provide for me,
and a soulmate I shall find,
but not to set me free.
because I am not trapped,
I am living life my own,
doing God's will, not mine,
this I should have known.
and if I never find someone,
to love me like I love them,
then that will be fine,
because God's plan is a real gem.
and no matter what happens,
I must continue to be true,
I must live for Christ alone,
and never will life be too blue.
