What it used to be

My mind says 1 thing, & my heart says another,
I cant decide if i should hold on, or not even bother,
You give me a short glance, i give you a stare,
Your a few steps away but its like your not there...

While I'm trying 2 be strong, the memories all creep in,
I loose my grip & then i fall,
Soon enough it starts 2 begin,
I cant pull together, & i loose it all...

Theres so much i wanna say,
But it never seems right,
Theres been times i wanna hold you,
But your always out of reach, out of sight...

When ever i try 2 get close, she gets in my way,
I used 2 be your number 1, your best,
Now shes turned my blue sky Grey,
& my heart is becoming less & less...

I hate that you don't even like me anymore,
I hate that shes taken my place,
I hate that we cant be like we were before,
& that i cant fill this empty space...

I wish I'd never met you, i wish this didn't start,
I'm not saying i didn't love you,
But i cant live with this broken heart!...
