You see what I want you to see,
I am not what I appear.

Have you ever looked inside me?
Behind the smile?
Deep within me?

Behind the surface holds a secret,
Not visible to the naked eye,
Deep within I am dying,
Just didn't want to worry you.

Someday I will just be a memory,
Someday soon,
I'm fading fast,
Just wishing I was you.
