The Top Of A Mountain- Watching

by Unseen Exposure   Nov 23, 2004

Standing at the top of a mountain
With the view of the town below
Watching as Winter breezes by
And covers green with snow

Children come out of their houses
It's time to sled and play
No school, No work, Just time-
They wouldn't have it any other way

Standing at the top of a mountain
As Winter turns into Spring
Birds fly back for the new season
And Mocking Birds begin to sing

Earthly flowers are all in bloom
Life is bursting with foison
Everything is magical and wondrous
No intoxicated, evil poison

Standing at the top of a mountain
As the leaves turn to orange and red
Gently caressing the ground as they fall
Until every leaf has been shed

Standing at the top of the mountain
As the ground is Winter-White
Watching families come together
And loved ones finally unite

Standing on the top of a mountain
Watching the year brush past
And I fly off that mountain
... Now I'm free at last
