You can all point and laugh
Tease and joke if you please
My mind is already broken,
and I'd love for you to leave

You see i can make it alone
I don't need you're "helping hand"
Best friends don't lie to you
and by that i shall stand

You always tried to impress him
You'd twirl your hair and laugh so fake
It's not my fault he's left you
And it was only the first date

You still carried on flirting with him
You tried to win him back
My friend you should have realized
It's pure class that you lack

"Oh he's the one i know it"
You cried to me that night
Friends forever we'd promised
Until you started a fight

You said i was a useless friend
That i never was by your side
It's like i was invisible
Because i swear to you i tried

Remember when i said to you
That I'd always see it through
I'd be right behind you in case you fell
And you said you'd be there to

Remember when you broke you're legs
And i stayed with you for days
You said you find a way to repay me
So with my heart you played

I never can forgive you
For what you've done to me
You said he'd never split us
But he has, can't you see?

It's ok though, don't you worry
I don't need you anymore
I'm really sorry it didn't work out
On this friendship I'll close the door

Because friends may come and go
But inside you must be strong
For life is so short and precious
One split second it could be gone

I'm glad you left me today
Because you're friendship was cold hearted
I'm finally getting somewhere
And you're back just where you started

    I really like this poem. A similar situation happened to me in the fifth grade, it was ridiculous! How your "friend" could let a boy come in between your friendship is beyond me.     hey again, i like this poem, i know people that do that kind of crap and crush on someone so much and don't see a friends help or any thing ne more so great job with it!

    Well I lost my best friend over a guy. The sad part is though, she left me after the guy left me. What is that supposed to mean? I needed her there for me when he left, but she left too. So sometimes you never really know who your true friends are.
