I can’t help but think of all we’ve been through
As I sit at my desk in class
I stare out the window and memories flood back
Of how you would kiss me
Of how you would hug me
And hold me when I lost faith
Of your gentle caress
And gentle hand on my face
Of your sweet words from the heart

How you would say something that would make my heart soar
“I’ll love you for all eternity…”
“I’ll never leave you, you mean everything to me…”
All those sweet words you whispered in my ear
The warm feeling I had whenever I was with you
The way I was at a loss for words
With the sweet things you do

I can’t help but miss all of that
I can’t help but hope you’ll come back
I can’t help but dream that you’ll take me in your arms and say
“Baby, I’m so sorry I hurt you,
I love you & nothing will ever change that,
Please take me back,
I promise everything will be right,
These days without you have been unbearable,
I can’t live happily ever after without you in my life…”

I want you to come back so badly
My heart has been aching without you
The day I lost you was the day I was supposed to die
But my hope kept me alive
Because I always thought you would come back to me
I thought you would be here with me to celebrate my birthday
I thought you would be here with me to celebrate Christmas
I thought you would be here with me to celebrate our anniversary…

I pray every night that you’ll be here beside me
I pray that when you come back I can live again
I’m dying here without you
Please come back baby I miss you so much…
