Plea

by Poetically Speaking   Dec 3, 2004

Temptation runs deep
he tries so hard to speak
his heart aches for her
yet it beats weak

what a sad note to play in a song
the love for one
the love which you long
hidden amidst a blind truth
you simply sit there
wishing she'd see you

the desperate feeling inside
the desperate pain
the desperate melody
inside remains

a forbidden fruit with caramel eyes
a seductive mistress
he cannot deny
one whom the world would stand still to see
if he could have one moment
he would confess his true plea

simply he cannot express
what his heart truly wants
for she is not for him
she is simply not

and it breaks the young ones heart
it truly does
yet he must stand up
and overcome his desired love

thank you, it hurts the most when you have to write something like this in your own image.
