Moment

by Thomas Key   Dec 4, 2004

The moment of truth
I'm filled with Indignation
so far it had been smooth
so full of recognition

full of apprehension
I've been crest fallen
full of contemption
I see my world fallin

The conversations are sullen
they used to be so swollen
with love and laughter
hoping for ever after

but now is the time
the end of the line
time to make the decision
time to choose my mission

I can be single again
be out on the market
or I can be in love instead
but theres a lot in the way yet

Aaron did more than he thought
he got everything first
almost everything I've sought
is gone, barried in the dirt

I've made up my mind though
I've thought it through
I will reap what I sew
I know what I have to do

I'm in love
and I have to keep going

I love to be happy
I have to be with her
being single is crappy
and she is the cure

I must tell now
she needs to know
What I think.

No, really. This is a wonderful poem, Tommy. It's a great exmple of this sitution and you express yourself so well. ^_^

Sorry about that STUPID letter, it's been in my binder and I can't do a thing with it. I've been busy..I stay after school every day with that one guy who helped me learn the Sax. Robert Freeman, the tall guy. You remember him? Not so sure you do...

But I hope things go well for you. ^_^

Im sorry Aaron got all the firsts. But in the end you get the best thing ever. You get Amy. You get Amy and he's lost her. Be happy. Your lucky. Keep up the good work. Good job on the poem. Keep your head up, Tommy.
