Last Night...

by Kaitlin Kristina   Dec 4, 2004

Last night when you kissed me,
You didn’t know I was awake,
You spoke to me softly,
While sleep, I faked.

Last night when you whispered,
Of our endless love,
You held me close, and tightly,
As you watched from above.

Last night when you told me,
How much I mean,
Thinking I couldn’t hear you,
Meant the world to me.

Last night you made me feel,
Like a million white doves,
Flew from my heart,
Expressing our love.

So tonight when I tell you,
That I feel for you,
The way you confessed,
You’ll know I love you too.

O my gosh that is so utterly beautiful. I cried at the sentiments you so wonderfully put into words.
