This World

So many people alive today
Who kill and hurt
Going around saying it’s okay
Putting peoples lives in the dirt

How they can do such things
I will never understand
I just wish I could change it
I wish I could take a stand

But no one will ever listen
To what I have to say
It will just keep going on
The way it is today

These people with black hearts
They will never see
The troubles they make tear me apart
At rest I will never be

It’s all just so strange
I hate this world
But it’s not something I can change
Cause’ I’m just some girl

People need to learn
How to stand up for what they believe
So please Im asking you
Peace is something we can achieve!
