Victim Of Anorexia

by Shædow Poet   Dec 12, 2004

Skin sticking to the bones
Face as pale as the snow,
Eating is a habit used so little
For the victim.

Demons haunt through the mind
Of words and tormenting of extra fat
Visible to the anorexic's eyes
Not to others.

Families start tearing apart
As the sick child grows so thin
Loosing flesh like ripping it off
Energy once lived, now dies.

Withering away like an old rose
Shame what happened to this young life
Who once looked so alive
Now looks dead.

Anorexia is in our world
Caused by stick thin models
Now the pressure gets to high
So they starve.

Food is no option in being thin
Hunger remains forever unconquered
Listening to the insane demon within
Victims of Anorexia.
