A New Home for a New Angel

by Katie   Dec 15, 2004

Alone and hurt sat this little girl,
He used to love her for he was her world.
She grew tired and she grew weak.
She could not stop shaking, she could no longer speak.

Everything was great, everything felt right.
She could no longer see, she lost her sight.
She used to be brave, she used to be strong.
Although it was quick it felt like it took so long.

He left her with a broken heart and teary eyes,
He didnt care, even after hearing her cries.
All the cries, all the guys,
It doesnt matter cause they all lie.

That is what she believed,
For she has been deceived.
She fell asleep as tears ran down her cheek.
She was happy, she no longer felt bleak.

The angel’s in heaven must have heard.
They must have been aware of all that’s occurred.
The angel‘s softly whispered, “Spread your wings and fly.”
“Fly as high as you can, fly high into the great blue sky.”

So she spread her wings,
And all the angel’s began to sing.
She took off for the blue sky,
She didn’t look back, she didn’t ask why.

She felt warmth and she felt love.
Yes its true, she was called from above.
She will always be happy and she won’t be sad.
For this is the best home she has ever had.
