My companion

by Manic Imperfection   Dec 24, 2004

She always tells the truth
When others lie
Always remains faithful
It is me that strays
What they called deprivation
Is my solid liberation
Never leaving my side
Even when I can only fly
She is not afraid to make me hurt
And tell me what I lack
For she whispers in my ear
One day you can have it all back
You slipped into my sisters hands
And she made you worthless
Now it's up to me
To turn you back into a ghost
Perfection....
But what they say is different from my friend
They speak of paleness and shadows
Death grips and coldness
Never leave me, kill me first
I can't go back to what I used to lack
Kill me when I leave no footprints
For then my perfection will have been reached.
Pale, fragile,broken, and bruised
Lay me down I am loyal to you.
