Torn Memories

by Katie   Dec 29, 2004

Torn memories replay in my mind.
One true love is so hard to find.
I sit here and shed a crystal blue tear,
As I look back at these torn memories,
From year after year.

What am I to do without a love so true?
You were mine, you were everything I once knew.
But, you’ve gone away and I’m left here,
Letting these torn memories increase my fear.

I lost love, I lost your heart.
Here I am just waiting for a new memory to start.
I’m lost in such a cruel world full of hate.
I am no longer in a happy state.

Behind these eyes you would never see,
Such a beautiful girl I used to be.
I’m still watching these torn memories in my mind.
The girl I used to be, you will never find.
