You don't always show it,
but i know you love me,
we don't spend much time together,
but it's easy to see.
you take care of my little bro,
and you're helping him grow up,
you spend time with me and sis,
and to you i raise my cup.
dad's make you unafraid,
they beat up the monsters under your bed,
tell you that everything's alright,
and watch you lay down your head.
you are both of Brenden's parents,
since he doesn't have a mom like mine,
you're like a super-man,
and you're doing just fine.
you're killer with a guitar,
and i probably get my musical talent from you,
you could be a rock-star,
but being a dad is what you do.
