Markey

by Dani Ward   Jan 3, 2005

You may not be my dad,
and haven't been here my whole life,
but you've helped raise me,
since my mom became your wife.
you've helped teach me right form wrong,
helped make me a good guy,
and because of your help,
i will soon be flying high.
you always give advice when i need it,
and you joke around a lot too,
you treat me like your own flesh and blood,
not like a strange animal from a zoo.
some step-dads aren't very nice,
and for their step-kids they don't do much,
but you help me out a whole lot,
and keep me out of Harms clutch.
thanks for always being there,
and helping me out when i need you,
i love you with all my heart, Markey,
and i know you love me too.
