Feeling of.....

I thought I was strong,
That I couldn't be broken.
I thought, without a doubt,
All was true that was spoken.

He told me that he loved me,
He was in it for the long run.
I just don't understand,
How I could be so dumb.

I let him in.
I opened up my heart.
Everyone knew the truth,
But I was left in the dark.

Now I find myself struggling
I'm lost and so confused.
And I'm left with nothing,
Because I had everything to loose.

Questions run through my head.
Was it something I did?
Did I do something wrong?
Was it something I said?

It took me a while,
But I finally see,
The problem was him
It wasn't me.

Now he's left feeling numb.
I am not alone.
And unlike him,
I've already moved on!
