Voices Inside My Head

All I can hear are these voices
The ones inside my head
The ones that keep me from sleeping
Making me just want to be dead

Invading my every thought
They will never go away!
I can’t even think straight
My thoughts in disarray

Fighting all my battles for me
Within this brain of mine
Inside I’m screaming “Go Away!”
But outside I act just fine

Bickering back and forth
This process goes on all night
One side saying I did the right thing
Another making me feeling contrite

    This was alright, not your best. I really liked this stanza though :

    Overall, I'd say this poem is very well written. There are some words I thought didn't fit, like 'dead', 'process' and 'contrite', but it doesn't deaden the poem or anything. I think you need to be clear as to what those voices are telling you to do though.
