The Foreigner

by *:.~Lauren~.:*   Jan 24, 2005

No one ever knew she was the class clown
No one ever knew she was the town freak
No one ever knew she was the talk of the town
No one ever knew she was so bleak

No one ever knew she was beautiful
No one ever knew the words she’s spoken
No one ever knew that her heart was full
No one ever knew her heart was broken

No one ever knew she was that funny
No one ever knew she had blue eyes
No one ever knew her world wasn’t sunny
No one ever knew the truth to her lies

No one ever knew that she was Prom Queen
No one ever knew that she was the class act
No one ever knew what she’s seen
No one ever knew how to react

No one ever knew about her pain
No one ever bothered to talk to her about it
No one ever knew why her tears fell like rain
No one ever knew that she laughed the loudest

No one ever knew that she was dead
No one ever knew the quiet girl in the corner
No one ever knew why there was a bullet in her head
No one ever made an attempt to love the foreigner

For a foreigner she was
Alone in the world
Sitting by herself
Just a lonely foreigner girl
