The Winners vs. The Losers

by *Amber Faith.* ©   Jan 27, 2005

I write works for reason in rhyme,
Longing for sunshine with each passage of time.
I'm tired of drowning in a sea of tears,
While I'm watching the days turn into years.
I'm believe in promises that never will be,
And believe in fantasies that I never shall see.
I'm waiting for a time that's nowhere in sight,
I'm living on hopes and trusting in love,
And always looking below when it's standing above.
I keep turning away when I'm just starting to see.
I guess the timing was wrong; it wasn't meant to be.
I'm standing up close when I should be afar.
But through all these bad time just give me a star.
