Come With Me...

by Eibutsina   Jan 28, 2005

Come with me and look into my eyes
See behind my fakeness and my lies
Come and envision the depth of my deception
The twisted way I see what I call my perception…
When you look through my eyes what do you see
Are you disgusted and somewhat sickened by me
Do ache with desperation for my eyes to blind
A small look, a mere opening to see within my mind…

Come with me and take a hold of my hand
There’s no way you could ever really understand
Everything I love and touch I seem to break
My world and my life is nothing but a fake.
I have two warm hands you can never hold
A heart frozen long ago that remains ice cold
I reach out with them both in an effort for help
But for who? In reality I don’t even know myself…

Come with me walk along my side
I’m tired of having so much to hide
This placebo life uses wasted energy
How many more times can I reinvent the real me?
Walk and keep up, at least do your best to try
One day I will be able to tell you why
But you came with me and for that I thank you
I just cannot change who I am nor what it is I do…
