A Walk on the Blade

by Austin   Jan 31, 2005

Carefully steps
One then the other
Never look down
You can't afford to
A tightrope walk
Balancing on razor blades
To high to stay alive
A simple slip and its all over
Do I keep walking this path
And keep tempting death with every step
Do I continue this game of roulette
One of which I surely can't win

I liked the concept of this poem very much. I loved the ending four lines. It had the strength i was talking about in the other comments i've made on your work. I knew you could do it.
Only problem on the 7th line you have a grammar error. It should be "Too high to stay alive"
Thanks for sharing. Keep writing, keep improving.
