Clouds are playing

by polly   Feb 2, 2005

Freedom lies where the flowers may grow,
Prancing in the breeze, over the seeds that we sow
Clouds are playing, like children in the sky
Hiding amidst the sun, as they dance on by.

The smell of leaves blowing through her hair
Breathes happiness that she tries to share
The river’s voice trickles down her lane
Sparkling silvers as it starts to rain

Peace whispers through those trees
Like stillness sailing across the seas
The air sleeps and brushes past her hands
As she lays by the water, feet in melting sands

Today my troubled angel sang with me
So long as we are part of one we shall be
Like my child I held her in my arms
And blew away all her tears with my charms
