Grace

by Austin   Feb 2, 2005

To those that this concerns
A diary of a long forgotten man
A legend in the making
But never quite got there

His tears created the water that runs through the soul
And his hand created the stars that rest above us at night
To him we tribute honor
Everytime we think of love

Not only love but truth in all
He brought fourth what we realize now
Faith in his words
Is what keeps us strong

For those that don't listen
He still reaches out to you
His grace undeniable
And his love unconditional

Nice work. I liked how you wrote this one. But again i felt something missing, as you say in the first stanza "A legend in the making
    But never quite got there"
This poem is potentially very good, but the feelings and emotions behind it didn't quite get there.
Also in the second stanza the first two lines are very long. I was thinking to help the structure of the rest of the poem, you could turn them two into four. Then either add to the third and fourth line to create another 4 lined stanza, or just leave it as a two lined stanza.
    Keep writing, Keep improving.
