TO dream of a dream

by Austin   Feb 8, 2005

If I told you how I felt
You would surely bleed
My words cut like knives
Simply put the truth hurts
But I can never say
What I really mean
I'm too stuck on beauty
Rather than to convey honesty
Would much rather you been in lust
Than for you to love me
I can't love you
And to do so would be a sin
Going against my heart
And now my mind aswell
Both tell me to run
But you give me so much
I feel like I live for you
But then again you cause my sins
Treacherous in nature
And poison to the heart
You convey false feelings
To gain my trust
Then spit in my face
When I ask for reciprication
To live like this much longer
Would drive any man insane
And If already insane
Then Saneness would be
but A dream of a dream
