Unravel

by Dani   Feb 11, 2005

No one is around,
she is full of pain,
her body tells her what to do,
to starve or go the wrong way.

she slowly states her reasons,
as they tell her to,
why she is in this place,
a mental institute.

she does drugs,
cuts, and she had bulimia too,
why did she unravel,
her world from happy to blue.

she cries when shes alone,
sitting in the room,
and tries to eat,
but the food is like glue.

it sticks to her insides,
makes her seem fat,
she doesn't like the weight she gains,
why cant she have her own life back?

she was locked up for a bizarre reason,
for cutting herself and a friend,
her friend died,
and while she cried,
they said what she did was a kind of trend.

that every kid about this age,
ends up going through it,
but they don't kill their friends,
they usually die before they do.

so in a way shes lucky,
but her beloved friend is not,
now she must live with the fact,
that her life is gone.
