In the Rain

by BrokenMisery   Feb 12, 2005

The nights in the corner
Tears lying upon her pale cheeks
Her pain feeding poison
Her soul crying shrieks

While searching for peace
In a world that makes her suffer
And looking for an escape
From those around her

And it never stops raining
Inside her head
The pain that's draining
Continues to spread
It is almost surreal
The pain too much to heal
If your hell was due,
How would you feel?
If that was you?

The world
Killing her inside
Blood to the bone
From her eyes that dried

Her dreams she once held close
She can't reassemble
As they became her ghost

It never stops raining
Inside her head
The pain that's draining
Continues to spread
It is almost surreal
The pain too much to heal
If your hell was due,
How would you feel?
If that was you?

How would you feel?
If that was you?

Hum. that was strong, and made me think and consider about being in the place of other people, people who are suffering.

    Nice write.

I've been wanting to write something like that, because I've been feeling that way. Pretty shitty..I hadn't been able to but looks like u were. I wanted to do the same thing with the rain and all. I guess that's one reason I love this one so much.

Thanks for the comment on my poem.

I liked this poem because it had a good repetition. I love repetition. I think it's the real basis of a great poem.
