Swim Through Atlantis

by Mark Spencer   Feb 15, 2005

Verse 1:

Under the sea there’s another world
That we don’t understand.
Far beyond our kingdoms
And our castles made of sand.
Where dolphins ride the ocean waves
Into the great unknown.
And dance upon the currents
Beside Poseidon’s throne.

Pre-Chorus:

And when I dream
I can see him in my mind.
Following his heart
To a place I hope he’ll find.

Chorus:

Where he can swim through Atlantis,
Or discover Shangri La.
And visit places I will never see.
But in my dreams I go there,
And I am with him again.
As he swims through Atlantis with me.

Verse 2:

Under the sea there are mysteries,
We’ve never uncovered.
Beneath her waves you will find
Treasures, undiscovered.
Where dolphins frolic all day long,
Above the great unknown.
Aiming skyward for the sun,
Toward Apollo’s throne.

Pre-Chorus:

And when I dream
I can see him in my mind.
Following his heart
To a place I hope he’ll find.

Chorus:

Where he can swim through Atlantis,
Or discover Shangri La.
And visit places I will never see.
But in my dreams I go there,
And I am with him again.
As he swims through Atlantis with me.

Instrumental Break:

Pre-Chorus:

And when I dream
I can see him in my mind.
Following his heart
To a place I hope he’ll find.

Chorus:

Where he can swim through Atlantis,
Or discover Shangri La.
And visit places I will never see.
But in my dreams I go there,
And I am with him again.
As he swims through Atlantis with me.
