Mommy

You're the lotus of a frozen lake,
You're the cherry on top of a chocolate cake...
Like the gold you're rare
And to me were always fair.
You're the sun rise in a cloudy day
To me you always knew what to say.
You're the shade of hope
Fragile like a bubble of soap,
You're mysterious like a shooting star
That you look at and that seems so far...
At the hospital when I was in pain
And I couldn't resist
Because of the heat
And I couldn't feel my feet
Or see the way out of that dark mist
You were my shining path and my drop of rain...
You are beautiful like a red rose
That drops of rain on its petals shows...
You're so kind
And in my mind
You're like an angel
That keeps me away from danger...
In the end
This poem to you I send
And I wish you health and happiness,
The wealth of a princess,
Because you're my mommy
Always funny,
And of course to you I say:
I love you and happy birthday!
