My Personal Hell

Alone in my mind,
is not a safe place,
because you cannot see,
all of the demons I face.

Telling me I'm worthless,
it would be simpler if I left,
reaching their hands out,
trying to steal my last breath.

The only thing that saved me,
is now pushing me away,
right into their open arms,
in which I will start to decay.

Everywhere I go,
they are right by my side,
waiting for the perfect chance,
to cause my suicide.

Because no one can see,
how I really feel,
it just makes it that much harder,
for my wounds to finally heal.

So I take a deep breath,
and give into their silent pleas,
knowing in my heart,
that I will never be free.
