Fire

by Dani Ward   Feb 22, 2005

Fire is so wonderful,
yet it can be very bad,
entrancing as it is,
it can leave you feeling sad.
staring into the flames,
hypnotized and lost,
it's beauty grabs at you,
but can have a terrible cost.
it can keep you warm,
and it can cook your food,
but it can destroy your life,
and can ruin your good mood.
burn a whole forest,
burn down your house,
blow up a whole city,
kill a little mouse.
ignite a flame,
on a candle wick,
shoot some fireworks,
make a flaming stick.
our hearts are aflame,
when we're in love,
like sparks flying up,
so high above.
lust for someone,
a burning desire,
described with words,
tied into fire.
can you tel i'm a pyro,
how i love fire,
but you must respect it,
or the consequences are dire.

Fire is a wonderful thing, if you know how to use it. It's a great gift from God.
