Little Sister (new ending)

by Christy Carpenter   Feb 24, 2005

A lost soul from a bad example
Down the path to corruption,
I watch you...
In silence.

There are so many similarities,
I know who you are
I know exactly who you are becoming,
But I just watch.

The tears you haven't cried yet,
Cuts that haven't shown through,
The many mistakes along your path,
In silence, I warn you.

Suicidal talks,
At such a young age.
Words of rage now,
But actions to come.
I feel your emotions, its a shame,
But I just stare...
Its deja-vu.
I see who you are,
Who you will be.

You're following blood without even knowing.

Following the path I left for you,
The ripples cease, the reflection appears.
Growing up, you're exactly who I was
Becoming what I am.
