Dreams are shattered
Hopes are lost
Wishes never come true
As values are lost

Tears are hidden
Cries are not heard
Lies are frequently spoken
They're much more preferred

Friendships are broken
Teared to pieces
They become strangers
As the number of enemies increases

Memories playback
Unwanted anymore
We try to let them go
Trying to get rid of before

Fears are still denied
Haunting us each night
Alone with fear
Crying with our fright

Secrets stay buried
No one has to know
All the truth that we keep
We don't have to show

We'll cover our scars
Pull our sleeves down
Smile the pain off
And never show the frown

We won't say we're sad
Won't show how we feel
We'll live on a lie
Wanting the lie to real
