Shades of Blue

by Steevens   Feb 28, 2005

What is one to do
When the world's just shades of blue?
And none of this was planned
It's no longer in our hands
I'm running out of time for you to say goodbye.

And I ponder on the differences
That could have made this better.
I wonder what I've done wrong
Or was I wrong all along?
No one ever told me anything.

What is one to do
When the world's just shades of blue?
And no matter how you rub your eyes
You can't erase this cheap disguise.
Nothing seems to help at all
But maybe I'll just make a call
To a higher being, to the lowest bum
To help me see where they're coming from
To make this scene make sense.
Make my life make sense

What is one to do
When the world's just shades of blue?
