At least you’re here

by Ð맆îñ¥   Feb 28, 2005

Oh damn! You saw me, you caught me
And after all my hiding you finally found me
Run away, race my thoughts, don’t look back
Forget the sight, ignore the blood, my lies begin to crack

You’re staring; you’re shocked; you don’t understand
My mind cannot cope with what I demand
Blood is around me but you’re here too
Fixed together with invisible glue

I never thought you’d stand by me when
You found me out, like this, thought you’d leave but then
You’re here, it’s more than I can ask
Step away now, watch your step, and in my blood I shall bask

I hear a muffle; it pierces the air
Crying out loud, little or no care
For my dying ears in their piteous state
Leave me my love, let me reveal my fate

**tied up with love aswell but i've put in sad**

Good poem, one line about the invisible glue seemed abit out of place here for some reason. i am not sure why it just didn't seem to fit in the theme of the poem. I think it was wonderfully writen for sure though.
