With No chance But By Choice

It frustrates me so fuc king much
Why can't you for once just follow through with your promises?
I want nothing more than to be with you
But sometimes I lack those feelings through your hazy responses

I never know quite what it is that we have
Or if we have anything at all
Why can't you be there to lift me up?
When I'm the one who catches you when you fall

And as the days blend together
My feelings become weary too
Our devoted love lacks the romance
We're trapped with no chance but by choice
It's a twisted sort of point of view

I said goodbye just to prove a point
I wanted to speak for so much longer
I am desperate for a definite sort of love
And you’re the only one who can feed this hunger

Always being pushed to the edge
Another day another scar
Looking upon your Imperfections
To say how lovely they really are

But it’s real this time
Just like the last time,
I can’t take it anymore
I’ll hurt you intentionally and run away
For you to find me back lament at your front door

    this poem is so true. i know exactly how you feel. i love this, i love how much i can relate.. favorate lines...
