Wonderful Light

Up on a hill,
I sit all alone,
Trying to find,
Where the sun has shone.
Sometimes I think,
It is only on me,
But then I wonder,
Why would that be?
I am not the only one,
In this crazy place.
Not the only one who needs light,
To shine on my face.
Yes, I have questions,
And a lack of many answers.
Like; will my friends and I,
Become teachers or dancers?
But as you can see,
I don’t need them right away.
So why is the sun,
Only shining my way?
