My Troubled Heart

by Ann Stareyes   Mar 7, 2005

Saturday Night, I lost two dear friends 6 hrs. apart, My heart is troubled this morning, And the tears have already started.*** Mike, 48, was a friend from school, And Bobby was my C.B. Buddy, They were special friends, and I loved them so much.*** I\'m trying to remember the good times, In order to wash the tears away, But lord, It\'s so hard, Just give me strength these next few days.*** We\'re never promised tomorrow, And this I know for sure, It\'s so hard to give \'em up, When we love \'em so dear.*** All my friends in poetry land, Say a prayer for me, I need some extra-strength from God, And I need your prayers, please.*** (I know this one is not all that great, but it's straight from my heart this morning. I didn't write it for the rates anyway, I wrote it to help me). Love you all, please say a little prayer for me. Thanks Ann
