Losing Hope

by FailureToSmile   Mar 14, 2005

Deeply concealed in me was the unforgettable thought of losing you. I tried so hard, but you let me down. Smashing my soul as if it was only a piece of a memory from a horrible nightmare. You told me you loved me, yet you pushed me away. And so I spent many restless nights holding my spirits together with what was left of the glue you lend-ed me months pasts. But then you were hit by the arrow of regret, to late to save what was left of my shattered heart. So you ran to my house only to find my lifeless body lying there on the ground. Begging for mercy from god, you fell to your knees in tears of sorrow. "I'm finally free" read on the note I left you to insure you I found my happiness. Winters have passed and you sit glazing out the window of the small room they shelter you in, losing hope. Like I did.
