My Words

These tears fall so softly
Sliding down milk cheeks
Splashing on the ground below
As days turn into weeks

Little droplets of emotion
Brimming on sad eyes
Rolling down a pale face
Diluting desperate cries

Falling with her eyes set low
Losing grip upon this land
Bleeding fingers from waiting too long
For someone to understand

Oh god this is so very sad
The stars won’t even shine
Darkness cascading down upon
Another forgotten rhyme

I no longer have identity
Just another lost soul of red
Carving down these words of mine
…Words already said
