Hold in there Love

by Kalika   Mar 22, 2005

I wish I could make it better,
Wish I could take away the pain.
I’m sorry this is happening,
Believe me, no one is to blame.

I know it seems the world is ending,
Darkness encompasses your mind.
Constantly plagued by questions,
How could this happen to someone so kind?

Resentment replaced by anguish,
Anguish replaced by shame.
But hunny you can beat this,
Life is nothing but a cruel game.

Soon things will get better,
She’ll be completely fine.
But healing won’t happen quickly,
Just give her a little time.

So don’t cry another tear,
I know it’s hard, but try.
I know that you can do this,
Just hold your head up high.

~For my dear friend. Her sister was just diagnosed with leukemia, so she is going through a hard time. You're always in my thoughts~

I've always liked how you write directly from the soul about your own life, and this is no different. Simply splendid.
