The Great Unknown

by Katie   Mar 24, 2005

The tears just rolled down her cheeks faster and faster as if it were a race.
The confused little girl wondered what happened to her face.
Lost in such an amazing thing,
One by one the angels softly whisper and sing.

“Hush little girl don’t say a word.
Now what’s going on in your head is absurd.
Let the tears fall but then smile,
Because out there someone is falling in love all the while.”

So this confused little girl went off to find who she really is.
But she went over speed bumps of things of hers and his.
This confused little girl now dwelling on the past,
She finally knows she has to get out of there whether near, far, slow, or fast.

The angels guide her and keep her from danger.
Watching to make sure she doesn’t meet her soon to be past stranger.
Now she has gotten where she needed to be.
But something was missing so the angels helped her to see.

“Just wait and find out what you want,
Before you get all caught up and its your past that haunts.”

Don’t be scared you’re angel is here.
With her there is surely nothing to fear.

So she brightened up the day with a smile,
That you could see for many miles.
“Now angel I thank you,
Thank you for all the things you do.”

So she turned her back and entered a whole new world,
Wondering if she would ever be his girl.
So she started her new journey out into the great unknown,
While on her face, a big smile is shown.
