The Sin of a Woman

by Hina   Mar 25, 2005

Dedicated to My Uncle

A man who gave up everything
Through shadows of the night
A Man who gave her everything
Who treated his wife right

A man who found out the hard way
Of what God had planned for him
The way he tortured him day to day
As if HE committed the sin

He had seen something in her eyes
That made his soul sore
But little did he know the truth
Of what had happened before

A woman that committed adultery
The worst crime in any Book
A woman who had nothing to say
When asked about what she took

She took the soul of a successful man
And sent his pride off to Jail
And told her entire story to him
When he received the mail

She said she did’t love him
She said money was her mind
But more then anything she said
It didid take long to find

All the money that she wanted
Was surely hers to keep
But when Aslam tried to Divorce her
She went lower then her feet

A Woman who bribed the church
Into believing she was true
A woman who told the pastor
To blame his family too

A family that supported
Only the saviors of the sought
A family that was entirely blamed
For the sin of a lady’s wants

Then why do some people look at him
As if it was his fault
That he found out the truth for once
And wanted a fresh start

Still sitting in jail he thinks
Had he only listened to his soul
And wishes soon he’d return to us
And fill the empty hole

Aslam if you’re reading this
Know that she will too cry
The way we did and you had done
She’s a sinner
…in God’s eyes
